The recently published hard-copy WHO family planning decision tool can be easily adapted to Annalisa wherever a computer is available, with the advantage that the weights attached to the various attributes can be personalised on the spot. The gallery below contains one snapshot from such an Annalisa (vasectomy, female sterilisation and LAM options are dropped in this illustration), as well as the two basic charts from the WHO tool.

The Ratings are derived partly from the very broad WHO chart ratings and from personal interpretation of evidence. They should not be taken as formally evidence-based The weightings are purely personal and for illustrative purposes The scores and ranking should be interpreted in the light of the bases of the ratings and weightings above Remember that you can save Annalisa files as csv ones which will
open in Excel, and which can there be duplicated, modified and saved
under a different name - and then loaded into Annalisa. (When you click
on 'Load Topic' Annalisa will accept a compatible csv file.) This is a
very convenient way of building up a set of files that have different
ratings for different countries/regions/client groups/individuals. Of
course you can also achieve this directly by saving (under a new name)
and modifying the alt file itself.
