The Wall Street Career Journal , in collaboration with Harris Interactive, identified the qualities that contributed most to the career satisfaction of the most highly satisfied from 4000 online respondents in April 2006. The 4 qualities that topped the list (from 14 offered) were then used in a filtering and scoring of occupations (taken from O*Net ) to produce the 8 ‘best careers’ listed in the snapshot below [alt file here ] An Annalisa type rating and weighting approach was not used, but could be in a similar exercise.
