Mhairi's Funeral Dilemma PDF Print E-mail

As a young girl Mhairi was faced by the decision of whether the attend the funeral of her beloved priest. She desperately wanted to say a proper goodbye but was very worried that she would get very upset and be publicly embarrassed. But she also realised she would be quite upset if she stayed at home. Roger and Barbara explored the decision with her over several hours using a simple decision tree and Mhairi found this very helpful in sorting out her strengths of feeling and the chances of the various outcomes. Read their account here Here’s how it may have looked using Annalisa. (Thanks to Mhairi, Roger and Barbara Mullin for allowing this example to be used.)
